Alpha-gal Allergen Inclusion Act
Amends the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to add alpha-gal (galactose-alpha-1,3-galactose) to the definition of a 'major food allergen.' This would require plain-language labeling for mammalian-derived ingredients in packaged foods to protect individuals with Alpha-gal Syndrome (AGS).
